How to Lionin – Pillar – Hardcore+ – Hero’s Hour
Introduction
Welcome to the second Hardcore+ Hero’s Hour Guide with Pillars Lionin. Lionin’s Talentree looks like we would like to concentrate on getting some Blood Dragons going. So we are getting make use of Union, Legion and Combat to not lose units and use our Experience gain to get some Red Dragons with Dragonking 😉
How to
Gives the hero dragonblood points based on the experience points they gain in battle – more per rank. Once 100 dragonblood points have been collected it is exchanged for a Red Dragon.
Dragonking
What a great talent! Free Red Dragons sounds amazing. So we do want to fight as much as possible. In order to do that we need to conserve troops. If we lose to many, we cannot fight anymore to gain experience points. Lionin starts with the Union talent. The hero will grant part of its life to a unit that is going to die. This will be huge for our dragon plan. So the stronger our hero, the more units we can safe.
Town
Build Order
The Town will always be ordered randomly, so I can only give a general guideline on this.
Highest Priority
- Tavern -> Recruit 2 Heroes to improve your first army
- Infirmary -> Get your lost units back to reform them once more
- Shrine of Beasts -> Good tanky units with Pan Da
- Hall of Crafts -> Get ranged units
- Marketplace -> Unlock the third row
- Pillars of Essence -> Use up all the resources to beef up your army really early
- Hospital -> If our Dragon dies, we have a chance of reviving them -> Really Important!
Normal Priority
- Pagoda of Heaven -> If its blocking your path to money or units
- More Units to open up mines and artifacts
- More Gold to buy mentioned units and buy units through the diplomacy talent

Hero’s Hour – Game Sheet
Hero’s Hour is an Hommage to Heroes of Might and Magic but as an Auto-Battler 😉 I played HOMM3 for hours with a friend and it was great! So with Hero’s Hour you choose a faction, build up your city, recruit units and go conquer the world with your heroes. Battles will happen automatically. You can still order a bit and cast magic. Just played a small test to check it out, now I already have 3 runs done. It is that good!
